The parties entered into Agreement No. N-2021-140 ("Agreement") dated June 18, 2021, to conduct a community broadband survey to gain an understanding of what service offerings are currently available to the residents of Santa Ana. B. Agreement No. N-2021-140 is current and in -effect through June 17, 2022. C. The parties wish to amend the Agreement to increase the Scope of Work of services for on -call services; extend the tern of the Agreement; and increase the overall compensation to cover costs related to the increased scope and extended tern for the Agreement. The Parties therefore agree: 1. Section 1, Scope of Work, is hereby amended to increase the scope of services, to include as -needed consultative services in the areas of internet access, broadband, fiber optics, wireless networks, broadband grants and other sources of internet access funding. Activities may include cost estimation, planning, and assistance with procurements and partnerships. 2. Section 2.b, Compensation, is hereby amended to increase the total sum to be expended under this Agreement from $15,000 to $50,000. 3. Section 3, Term, is amended to extend the tern of the Agreement until December 31, 2022. 4. Except as modified by this First Amendment, all ternis and conditions of the Agreement, shall remain in full force and effect.
