What is the name of the neighborhood where you reside?
Washington Square
How do you describe your community to someone who hasn’t visited? What streets/boundaries define
your community?
Lovely neighborhood pocket in the Heart of Santa Ana. The three neighborhoods of Washington Square, Floral
Park, and West Floral Park have a civic minded group, low crime and have a LOT of small community
engagement. The neighborhood associations are fun with lots of great activities and are very plugged in to
keeping our neighborhood and community thriving. We are bordered by Flower, 17th, Civic Center and Bristol.
What are the major cultural/recreational/educational/religious institutions in your community?
There are 2 schools and a Christian church within the neighborhood. Recreation includes walking within the
neighborhood because we do not have our own park or any recreation. The schools are closed to public use.
Does your community have major geographical boundaries/features (freeways, parks, lakes, mountains)?
No parks or any kind of recreational resources
Do you have concerns about the current boundaries of your Ward?
YES. I believe we should be included with the neighborhoods north of 17th (Floral Park and West Floral park,
Jack Fisher, Morrison Park) because the demographics and living concerns/conditions best relate to those
neighborhoods.

Please PLEASE consider incorporating Washington Square with like neighborhoods north of 17th.
