THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into March 7, 2023,
by and between Merritt Studio, LLC, a California limited liability company ("Consultant"), and
the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the
Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"),
RECITALS
A. The parties entered into Agreement No. N-2022-224 ("Agreement") dated August 16,
2022, to retain a qualified consultant to provide design and layout services to the City for
an activity guide distributed via print and digital formats.
B. The Agreement is current and in effect through June 30, 2023.
C. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the compensation to
accommodate additional language translation services for the activity guide.
The Parties therefore agree:
Section 2(a), Compensation, is hereby amended to increase the total to be expended under
the term of the Agreement, including any extension periods, by $3,100. The total not -to -
exceed amount shall be $23,100.
2. Except as modified by this First Amendment, all terms and conditions of the Agreement, shall
remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to the
Agreement on the date and year first written above.
