Employee Anniversary Pin and Recognition Policy
Discussion
Santa Ana employees are a vital part of the Santa Ana community, and dedicated
employees committed to serving with the City of Santa Ana are essential to ensuring
high quality, efficient, and culturally responsive services to residents, visitors, and
businesses.
The City previously provided commemorative pins recognizing an employee’s years of
service (e.g., 10 years, 15 years), but such pins were discontinued in or around 2019.
We seek to direct the City Manager to develop a policy for such pins, obtain services to
design said pins, and implement such recognition policy.
We believe this policy would be a small, positive, and inexpensive gesture to recognize
employee loyalty.
