tp. prop�vH)/ - FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH VCA YORBA REGIONAL ANIMAL
HOSPITAL TO PROVIDE VETERINARY SERVICES
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on August 14,
2023, by and between VCA Animal Hospitals, Inc., A California Corporation, dba VCA Yorba
Regional Annual Hospital ("Consultant" or "VCA Yorba"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter
city and municipal corporation organized aad existing under the Constitution and laws of the State
of California C'City ').
RECITALS
A. The patties entered into Agreement NN-2022-308, dated June 1, 2022 ("Agreement"), by which
Consultant agreed to provide medical services including emergency medial care to police K.-
9s. The terns of the Agreement runs through March 31, 2024, and is still in effect.
B. The parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the overall compensation for the
remainder of the term, adding an additional $24,900.00.
- The Parties therefore aaree:
1. Section 2.a, Compensation, shall be amended to increase the total compensation by an
additional $24,900.00, for a total not to exceed amount of $48,900.00.
2. Except as modified by this Amendment, all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain
in full force and effect.
