THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT SUBRECIPIENT
AGREEMENT is entered into this 16 day of January, 2024, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a
charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("CITY"), and Interval House, a
California nonprofit organization ("SUBRECIPIENT").
RECITALS
A. On July 1, 2023, the City entered into an Emergency Solutions Grant Subrecipient Agreement
with Interval House, A-2023-083-02, to provide Emergency Funds from the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to be used in the operation of
emergency solutions programs to assist individuals and families that are homeless or at risk of
homelessness in obtaining appropriate supportive services in the City of Santa Ana ("said
Agreement").
B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to amend to
increase funds by $32,393 to the Subrecipient, which need to be spent by June 30, 2024.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the
terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows:
1. Section III, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by $32,393. The new total
sum shall be increased from a sum not to exceed $80,000 to an amount not to exceed $112,393
in grant funding.
2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain
unchanged and in full force and effect.
