Honorable Mayor and City Council, I am with the Riverview Neighborhood Association and respectfully request that you please schedule a public discussion, at a council meeting, on the proposed Needle Exchange Program. We do not support such a program; 17 individuals with HIV within a population of over 350,000 residents does not warrant such a service. Previous experiences have been negative and the proposed provider, Harm Reduction Institute is already criticizing our City on social media. We appreciate your prompt Attention to our request.
