HomeMy WebLinkAbout1342 ORDINANCE NO. 1352 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DEEIGNATED "EUNSHINE HOMES" WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did heretofore on the 3rd day of March, 1952 by Resolution No. 52-23 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory con- tiguous to said City, which said Resolution was regularly pub- lished in the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper of general circula- tion printed and published in said City and in the Costa Mesa Globe Herald, a newspaper published outside of said City but in the County of Orange, said publications being made once a week for two successive weeks prior to the public hearing on said proposed annexation, which said public hearing was set by said Resolution for the 7th day of April, 1952; and WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections to said proposed annexation and no written protest was filed by any person against the same; NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES 0RDAINASFOLLOWS: SECTION l: That after due hearing regularly held upon due notice regularly given in all respects as required by the statutes and as hereinabove set out and in the files of this proceeding more particularly shown, we do find, declare and ordain that there is and was no protest nor objection, either written or oral, to the annexation of the territory herein described to the City of Santa Aha, that due and regular notice of the time and place of hearing was given as required by law and that said territory is end was wholly uninhabited and that no person lives thereon; that territory was and is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, nia. SECTION 2: in the County of said Califor- That all of the uninhabited territory situated Orange, ~tate of California and described as follows: The Northerly 660 feet of Lot J, of the Revised Plat of the West Tract, recorded in Book 1, page 13, Nisc. Nape of Orange County, and more particularly de- scribed as follows: Beginning at a point in the center line of Bristol St. distant 662.50 feet Northerly from the intersection of the center line of Edinger Street with the center line of said Bristol Street, thence Northerly along the center line of BristOl St. 660 feet to a point; thence Westerly and parallel to the center line of Edinger St., 1320 feet to a point; thence Southerly and parallel to the center line of Bristol St. 660 feet to the Northwest cor- ner of Tract No. 1508, recorded in Book 45, Page 40, Misc. Naps of Orange County; thence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Tract 1508 a distance of 1320 feet to the point of beginning, be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of Santa Ana and the annexation of said territory is by this Ordinance, effected, approved and declared and to take effect from and after the effective date of this Ordinance and shall be and continue a part of said City. SECTION 3: The City Clerk ehall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three is- sues of the Santa Ann ReEister, a newspaper printed, published, and circulated in the City of Santa Ann, and hereby designated for that purpose. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the day on which it is passed and adopted. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the _5~hday of Na~ ,1952.
