BY A~ENDING A~THEREOF CREATING 0HANGES IN DISTRICT
BOUND&RIES AND BY AMENDING SP~T NUMBER 39 OF THE DISTRICTING
MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ann has
given notice of public hearings as required by law and has duly held
two publiohearings in connection with the application for change of
District Classification and by Resolution Number 608 recommended the
change to C-1 District instead of C-2 District as requested; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of public
hearingand such public hearing was regularly held and the Council
does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare.
require the following amendment and change in the present classifi-
cation of the real property hereafter described and that the uses
under the proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
0RDAINAS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property lying in the City of Santa
Ann, County of Orange, State of California and described as:
The North 430 feet of the West 190 feet of the West half
of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section
25, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., except the
West 50 feet and the North 30 feet thereof, located on the
South side of Edinger Street between Bristol and Baker Streets,
be reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-1 (Neighborhood Com-
mercial District) and that Sheet Numbered 39 of the Districting Map
of Article IX of the Santa Ann Municipal Code be amended to show such
reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas-
sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published with-
in.15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ann Inde-
pendent, the official newspaper of the City. This Ordinance shall
take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.
