CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FRANK BORCHARD ANNEX NO. 1".
W~EAS,.~he City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on
May 17, 1954 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 54-62, which said Resolution was
~egularly PUblished in the Santa Ana Independent and the Orange Daily
News as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice
of public hearing to be held on the 21st day of June, 1954; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no protests or objections
to said propesed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TTTE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing regularly held in all
respects as required by law it finds that there was no protest to
the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of
the time and place of hearing was given, that said territory was
uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was filed and
that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California described as:
That certain portion of the Rancho Santiago De Santa
Ana, County of Orange, State of California described as:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Tract 560 as
shcw~ on a map thereof recorded in Book 19, page 2 of
Miscellaneous Naps, Official Records of Orange County,
said point of beginning being in a portion of the bound-
ary of the City of Santa Ana and ~nning thence Northerly
833.00 Feet along the West line of Tract 696 and the North-
erly extension thereof as shown on a map thereof recorded
in Book 20, pages 45 and 46 of said Official Records;
thence Westerly at right angles 107.00 feet; thence North-
erly at right angles 27.00 feet; thence Westerly at right
angles992.00 feet; thence Northerly at right angles 5.00
feet; thence Westerly at right angles 238.65 feet to an
intersection with the East line of Tract 252 as shown on
a map thereof recorded in Book 13, page 33 of said Official
Records, said point of intersection being atao on' the East
line of Maple Alley and a portion of the Easterly Boundary
of the City of Santa Aha; Thence Southerly 864.87 feet
along said East line of Tract 252 also the East line of
Maple Alley and said portion of the Easterly Boundary of
the City of Santa Aha to an angle point in said boundary
of the City of Santa Aha, being the Westerly prolongation
of said North line of Tract 560; Thence Easterly alonE the
said Westerly prolongation of the North line of Tract 560
and th~ said North line of Tract 560, being also a portion
~ of said boun~ of the City of Santa Aha to the point of
beginning~
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Aha, and said annexation is by this Ordinance effected,
approved and declared to take effect from~and after the effective
date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pass-
age of ~hi~ Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within
15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent,
the Official newspaper of the City. This Ordinance shall take effect
30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.
