THE EAST SII~ OF McCLAY STRE~t~',T AND THE NORTH SIDE OF
SEVENTEENTH STREET.
THE CITY COUNCIL O~ THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public peace, health, safety, comfort,
convenience, interest and welfare require and there are hereby
established, setback lines as hereinbelow setout, all in accord-
ance with the Notice contained in Resolution No. 54-76.
SECTION 2. That a new Sub-paragraph (r) be added to Section
9150 of Part 2, Chapter l, Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code to read as follows:
"(r) McClay Street on the east side from Chestnut Street to
McFadden Street, 5~ feet from the surveyed center llne
measured at right angles."
SECTION 3- That Sub-paragraph (d) of Section 9150 of Part 2,
Chapter l, Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended
to read a~ follows;
"(d) Test Seventeenth Street, on both sides, from Flower
Street to the West City Limits, 50 feet from the
surveyed center line, except that, on the north side
from Bristol Street west to a point 138.71 feet east
of the surveyed center line of Alona S~eet the setback
line shall be 140 feet north of the surveyed center line
of West Seventeenth Street measured at right angles."
SECTION 4. The clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana
Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after
the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its
regular meeting held on the 19~hday of July5____, 1954.
