CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED ,w ANTONE BORCHARD ANNEX"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on
May 17, 1954 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 54-63, which said Resolution was
Pegularly published in the Santa Ana Independent and Orange Daily
News as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice
of public heaping to be held on the 21st day of June, 1954; and
WHE~EAS, at said hearing there were no Objections or pro-
tests to said proposed annemation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIONi 1. That after due hearing regularly held in all
respects as required by law and as more particularly shown in the
files of this proceeding, it finds that there was no protest to
the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice
of the time and place of hearing was given and that said territory
was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation
was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa
Ana, California.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the
County of Orange, State of California described as:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Section
25, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, S. B. B. & M., 990
feet Westerly from the Northeast corner of said Section
25, said point of beginning also being a point on the
boundary line of the City of Santa Ana, California;
running thence North 89° 22' 10" West along said boundary
line and the center line of Delhi Road, 1588.00 feet to
a point; thence South 0° 39' 45" West, 3058.27 feet to
the Northwesterly Right-of-Way line of the Pacific
Electric Railway; thence North 60° 53' 30" East along
said Northwesterly Right-of-Way l~ne, 1829.45 feet to
a point; thence North OO 39' 45" East, 2150.78 feet to
the point of beginning~
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of
the City of Santa Ana, and said annexation is by this Ordinance ~
effected, approved and declared to take effect from and a~ter the
effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published,
within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana
Independent, the official newspaper of the City. This Ordinance
shall t~ke effect 30 days from and after the date of its final
adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 19th_ day of
