SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING Sn~T NO. 8 OF THE DISTRICT-
ING MAP TO SHOW Tn~ RECLASSIFICATION
WHE~tEAS, the Planning Commfssion of Santa Aha has given notice of and
duly held two public hearings in connection with an application for change of
District Classification and by Resolution No. 646 recommended to the City
Council the change requested; and
WNEREAS, the City Council g~ve due notice of and regularly held a public
hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following am~BSw~ut and that the uses under the
new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW~ THEEEF0~E, ','n~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES 0BDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
Lots 98, 99, 100 and lO1 of Santa Aha Grand Avenue Tract, in
the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, as
per map recorded in Book 26, Pages 53 and 54 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California, except therefrom
No. I. That portion lying north of the following described
line: Beginning at a point on the center line of Grand Avenue,
841.54 feet southerly from its intersection with the westerly pro-
longation of the south line of Lot 85 of said Tract~ thence east-
erly at right angles with said center line, 252.25 feet to a point
on the east line of said Tract, 842.~0 feet southerly from the
southeast corner of said Lot 85,
be reclassified from C and R-2 Districts to the C-1 District and that Sheet
No. 8 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code be
amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shell certify to the passage of this
0rdina-ce and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after its
adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent. This Ordinance shall take
effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
