TRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING 8"~.","f NO. 6 0r THE
DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW T~ RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Co-~f ssion of Santa Ana has given notice of and
duly held two public hearings in connection with an application for change of
District Classification and by Resolution No. 6~3~ reconm~nded to the City Council
the change requested; and
WNEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public
hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the
new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW~ THE6~FORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of
Orange~ State of California, described as:
Commencing at the intersection of the center line of Washington
Avenue with the Westboundary of the Allotment to Maria Y. A. de
Moreno by Final Decree in Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa
Ana, running thence South 7.39 chains, more or less, along said
West boundary of said Allotment to the Northwest corner of that
tract of land conveyed by Nancy Alice Reuter to C. L. Hall and S. J.
Hall, husband and wife, by deed recorded in Book ll2, page 39 of
Deeds, records of Orange County, California; thence East hl5 feet
along the Northerly boundary of said last mentioned tract of land
to a point; thence North 7.39 chains, more or less, parallel with
the West line of said Allotment to Maria Y. A. de Moreno to the
center line of Washington Avenue, and thence West along said center
line 415 feet to the point of beginning, and containing 4.65 acres,
more or less.

at the intersection of the center line of Washington Street, formerly
Washington Avenue~ with the West boundary of the Allotment to Maria
Y. A. de Moreno by F~nal Decree in Partition of the R~ncho Santiago
de Santa Ana; thence along said West boundary ~outh0v 52' 07" East
a distance of 45.00 feet; thence South 56o 29' 48" East a distance
of 502.77 feet to a line parallel with said West boundary of said
Allotment and passing through a ~oint in said center line of Washington
Street, distant thereon North 89v 39' 45" East 415.00 feet from She
said point of beginning~ thence along said parallel line North 0 52' 07"
West a distance of 325.00 feet to said center line of Washington Street;
thence along said center line South 89° 39' 45" West a distance of
415.00 feet to said point of beginning,
be reclassified from R-1 and R-2 Districts to the M-1 District and that Sheet No.
6 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal Code be amended
to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after
its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent. This Ordinance shall
take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
