1954, declare its intention to Annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution
No. 54-118, which said Resolution w~s regularly published in the Santa Aura
Independent and Orange Daily News as required by law, and which said Resolution
gave due notice of public hearing to be held on the 20th day of September,

SECTION l: That afterdns hearing regularly held in all respects as
required by law and as more particularly shown in the files of this proceeding,
it finds that there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein
described, thmt~e notice of the time and place of heering was given; that said
territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was
filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ann, California;
that written consent, of all the owners was filed with the Clerk of the Council
prior to the adoption of this Ord~-nce, agreeing that all property within maid
territory shall be taxed to pay amy indebtedness or liability of said City con-
tracted prior to or existing at the ttm~ of annexation and that said property
shall be so taxed.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange,
State of California described as:
A portion of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 30, Township 5 South,
Range 9 West, San Bermardino Base & Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Southerly boundary of the City of
-~amta Ann, said point of beginning being in the center line of Dyer
Roa~, and also being the Northeast corner of the Southwest 1/4 of
said Section 30 as shown on a map of the ~eccombe Addition to Dyer,
recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book ~, at Page 17, Records of Orange
County, California; thence North 89 04' 45" West; 1~)9.11 feet along
said Southerly bounclary of the City of .~a. nta A~a amd the center line
of Dyer Road to the Westerly line of the Southerm Pacific Railroad
right of way as conveyed to the Santa A~a Railroad by deed recorded
in BOOkol3, Page 9, of Deeds,records of said Orange County; thence
Seuth 0 33' O0" West 52.83 feet to the beginning of a *~-Eent curve;
thence southwesterly along the arc of a curve concave Westerly having
a radius of 1126.28 feet through an interior angle of 10° 20' 00" an
arc length of 203.13 feet to a t~__gent; thence South 10° 53' 00"
West 767.]49 feet to the beginning of a t~__gent curve; thence
Southwesterly along the arc of a curve concave Northwesterly hav-
ing a ra~Ltus of 1126.28 feet through a central angle of 17° 27' 20"
an arc length of B43.13 feet to a point; thence North 89° 13' 55"
West 1132.48 feet to the Southerly extension of the East line of
said Seccombe Addition to Dyer; thence North 0° 09' 45" East 1337.80
feet along said East line and its Southerly and Northerly extension
to the point of beginning.
Ail bearings and distances are as shown on a licensed Surveyor's
Map filed in Book 28, Page 19, of Record of Survey in the office of
the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of ~anta
Aha, and said annexation is by this Ord~-ance effected, approved amd declared
to take effect from and after the effective date of this Ordinance.
S~CTION 3. The Clerk of the Council sb~l:l certify to the passage of
this Ordinance and sba! 1 cause the same to be published, within 15 days after
its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ama Independent, the official newspaper
of the City. This Orders-ce sba11 take effect 30 days from and after the date
of its fica! adoption.
