ORDINANCE NO. NS-65 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF 'l'n~ SANTA ANA
MUNICIPAL CO~ CREATING CNAN(~S IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
~ ~$~ENDING ~ NO. 14 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW
TH~ ~ECLASSIFICATION.
tile planning Cow~t ssion of Santa Aha has given notice of and
d~ly held two public hearings in connection with an application for change of
District Classification and by Resolution No. 672 recommended to the City Council
the cb_ange requested; and
WHEi~EAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public
hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the
new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, ~)RE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~ANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
On the west side of Broadway between the west line of Broadway and
the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the north line of the alley i-m~diately
north of Seventeenth Street, 150 feet west of the west line of
Broadway; thence north to Nineteenth Street; thence north from a point
on the north line of Nineteenth Street which is 200 feet west of the
west line of Broadway a distance 130.6 feet; thence west 2.5 feet;
thence north 1~0.64 feet; thence west 22.5 feet; thence north 100
feet; thence East 55 feet; thence north 208 feet; thence west ~l feet;
thence north 167.56 feet; thence west 12.5 feet; thence north 90 feet;
thence west 25 feet; thence north 147.36 feet; thence east 74.5 feet;
thence north 188 feet; thence west 38 feet; thence north 149 feet; thence
east 13.5 feet; thence north 6~ feet; thence east ~8.5 feet; thence
north 288 feet; thence east l0 feet; thence north 130 feet to a point
on the south line of ~anta Clara Avenue, which is 140 feet west of the

line of Santa Clara Avenue, which is 200 feet east of the east line of

be reclassified from R-1 and R-3 District to the "P" District and that
Sheet No. 14 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal
Code be amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council sh~l 1 certify to the passage of
this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after
its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ama Independent. This Ordinance

take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
