SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT BY ~ENCE A SANTA ANA
ELECTRICAL
WHEREAS, heretofore, three copies of the !'Santa Ama Electrical Code",
which contains detailed regulations pertaining to the installation of electrical
wiring in buildings within the City, which said regulations have been arraigne~
ns a comprehensive code and printed in book form, have been filed with the Clerk
of the Council for permaaent record and public inspection,
WHEREA~, notice that the sam, have been so made available for public in-
spection and the date, hour and place of this meeting at which said Electrical
Code is to be considered for final azloption by reference, has been duly published
and a public hearing thereon duly held.
NOW, '.'am~{EFOBE, T~E CITY COUNCIL OF 'A'.~ CITY OF SAN~A ANA DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
~ECTION 1. That Section 8300 of Chapter 3, Article VIII of the Santa Aha
Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 8300. Adoption of Electrical
That certain doc,,m-nt in book form, entitled "Santa Aha Electrical
Code", three copies of which are now on file in the office of the Clerk
of the Council, is hereby a~lopted and enacted by reference, as provided
for in Section ~19 of the Charter of the City of Santa Aha, as the
Electrical Co~e of said City to have the same force and effect and
carry the s,~m~ penalties as any other ordinance of the City."
SECTION 2. That Sections 8301, '8302, 8303, 830~, 8307, 8308, 8312 and
8313 of Chapter 3, Article VIII of the 8ants Aha Municipal Code are hereby repealed.
S~ION 3. The Clerk of the Council sb~l ] certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its a~option,
in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent, the official newspaper of the City.
