OF CHAPTER 2 OF ARTICLE III OF TRE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE,
REGULATING PARKING.
T~ CITY COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ~5~at Sections 3210 and 3210.1 of Chapter 2 of Article
III of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be and the same are hereby amended to read
as follows:
"SECTION 3210. Parking Time Limit, District~ "A".
No operator shall stop any vehicle and leave the same
parked, whether attended or unattended, in any portion of any
public street in Central Traffic District "A" for a period of time
longer than one hour between the hours of 9:00 o'clock A.M. and
6:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday of
each week and from 9:00 o'clock A.M. to 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Friday
and Monday of each week, except that such parking limitation shall
not be operative on any legal holiday, other than Saturday.
"SECTION 3210.1. Parking Time Limit, District "B".
No operator shall stop any vehicle and leave the same parked,
whether attended or unattended, in any portion of a~y public street
in Central ~¥affic District "B" for a period of time longer than
twohours between the hours of 9:00 o'clock A.M. and 6:00 o'clock
P.M. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday of each week and
from 9:00 o'clock A.M. to 8:00 o'clock P.~{. on Friday and Monday of
each week, except that such parking limitation shall not be operative
on any legal holiday other than Saturday."
SECTION 2. That Section 3234 of Chapter 2 of Article III of the Santa
Ana Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 3234. Continuing Violations Additional Offences.
~a) Every person violating the provisions of SectionS3215, 3216,
3217, or 3218, is guilty of a further and separate violation for each
period of time that the vehicle is left so parked equal to the maxi-
mum legal parking time for the particular traffic zone or parking space
as designated in said Sections or by Resolutions adopted fixing such
-~imum legal parking time.
(b) Every person violating the provisions of Section 3213
is guilty of a further and separate violation for each period
of thirty minutes that said vehicle is left continuously so
parked beyond the first period of thirty minutes of such parking."
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of
this Ordinance and sheA1 cause the same to be published within 15 days after
its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent, the official newspaper
of the City. This Ordi~mce shall take effect 30 days from and after the date
of its final adoption.
