NS-10l~ AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 9 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the. Planning Connnission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with an applica- tion for change of District Classification and by Resolution No. 799 recommended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the fol- lowing amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, ~TE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Lots 3, 5, ? and 9 of Collum's Addition, as per map thereof recorded in Book 23, Page 50, Records of Los Angeles County, California, be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-3 District and that Sheet No. 9 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such r eclassification. Section 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana In- dependent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1955.
