CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND ADDING SHEET NO. 51
TO THE DISTRICTING ~LAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice of and
duly held two public hearings in connection ~ith an application for change of
District Classification and by Resolution No. 816 recommended to the City
Council the change requested; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public
hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, conven-
ience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
N~, THEREFORE, THE CITY COL~CIL OF THE CITY OF SA~QTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property described as:
All that certain land situated in the Rancho Santiago de
Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, de-
scribed as follows:
All of Lot 16 of the "Mabury Tract" as shown on map recorded
in Book 36, page 65 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, EXEEPT 8.61 acres, more or less, previously
conveyed to the State of California for freeway purposes,
be reclassified from R-1 District to the "P" District and that Sheet No. 51 is
hereby added to the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Municipal
Code to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 15 days after its
adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. Th&s Ordinance shall take
effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its
regular meeting held on the 18th day of July', 1955.

the City of Santa Aha, California; that the foregoing Ordinance was regularly in-
troduced at the regular meeting of said Council held on the 5th da~ of Jul~
1955, and was again considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the
18th day of J~ly , 1955, and was at said meeting regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
