I~0NICIPAL CODE CRFATING CHA}iGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND AME~q)ING
SHEET NO. 37 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
!~qEREAS~ the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly
held two public hearings in cor~,eotion with an application for change of District
Classification and by Resolution No. 838 recommended to the City Council the
change requested; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public
hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the
new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF Ti~E CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLL~S:
SECTION 1. Tha% the real property in %he City of Santa Aha, County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point 160' North of the center line intersec-
tion of Pacific Avenue and Pine S%reet~ when these two streets
are dedicated 60' wide; thence North 171~; thence East 191'; thence
North 17~'; thence East 1~8'; thence North 1~'; thence East 3lb';
thence South 361'; thence West 6~3' to the point of beginning,
be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-2 District and that Sheet No. 3? of the
Districting Map of Ar%icle IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended %o show
such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of %kis
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published, within 1~ days after its
adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent. This Ordinance shall take
effect 30 days f rom and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED ~2%~D ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its
regular meeting held on the 6th day of September: 19~.
