CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "ROSE

W~tEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on
December 5, 1955 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 55-306, which said Resolution was regu-
larly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave
due notice of public hearing to be held on January 16, 1956; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no obJec~ions~or protests
to said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANADOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protemt to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory
was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was
filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana,
California; that written consent of all the owners was filed with the
Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agree-
lng that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any
indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to or existi~
at the time of annexation and that said property shall be so taxed.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
Orange, State of California~ described as:
That portion of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 25, Township 5 South, Range l0 West,
S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of the said
Section 25, said point being located 475.00 feet South
0° 39' ~5" West from the Northeast corner of said Section
25, said point of beginning being on the City Limit line

of the City of Santa Aha, running thence South 0 39 45
West 150.00 feet along the East line of said Section 25,
being along the City Limit line of the City of Santa Aha;
thence North 89° 20' 15" West 322.00 feet; thence North
0° 39' 45" East 150.00 feet along.a line parallel with the
said East line of said Section 25, thence South 89° 20' 15"
East 322.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Said bearings and distances are as shown on Record of
Survey 30/9 filed in the Office of the County Recorder of
Orange County, California,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City ef Santa Aha, the Santa Ana Elementary School District~ Santa
Ana High School District and Santa Ana Junior College District, and
said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pas-
sage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to
in 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the
pendent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days
date of its final adoption.
