~4~0 PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF AD VALOREM TAXES BY THE
C6UNTY OF ORANGE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~ANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That a new Part to be Numbered 3 be added to Chapter
4 of Article II of the Santa Aha Municipal Code, in words and figures
as follows:
"Part 3. Ad Valorem Taxation.
SECTION 2450. Tax Collection by County.
All duties of assessing property and collecting taxes
thereon provided to be performed by the City, shall be per-
formed by the County Assessor and the County Tax Collector of
the County of Orange, State of California, in accordance with
the provisions of Sections 51500 through 51519 inclusive, of
the Government Code, State of California, as the same now exist,
may be amended, added to or re-enacted."
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15
days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independent.
This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of
its adoption.
