HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-186 ORDINANCE NO. ~-!~ A~NDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE 'CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUNDARIES AND A~ENDING SHEETS NOS. 54 AND ~5 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with Amendment Application No. 182 for change of District Classification, and rec- ormuended to the City Council the change requested; and WiHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. ~ NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TiE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: A portion of the Kuffel and Fletcher Tract as saown on a map recorded in Book 19, at page 48, of Miscellaneous Rec- ords of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point distant North 87° 44' 45" East 1627.74 feet and North 1° 00' 20" West 30.01 feet from the inter- section of the center lines of Old Newport Road and Delhi Road, as shown on a Licensed Surveyors Map filed in Book 7, at page 9 of Record of Surveys, in the office of, the County Recorder of Orange County, California, said point of begin- ning being in the North line of Delhi Road, b0400 feet wide; thence North 1° 00' 20" West 1052.73 feet to a point; thence North 88° 48' 20" East along said line and the Easterly extension ther$of, 827.19 feet to a point; thence South 1° 00' 20" East 1037.43 feet to a point in said North line of Delhi Road; thence South 87°44' West along said North line, 827.38 feet to the point of beginning. be reclassified from R-1 District to the R-3 District and that Sheets Nos. 54 and 5~ of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassifi- cation. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption..
