NS-201 A~t~NDING ARTICLE IX OF ~HE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CP~ATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOU~WDARIES AND ADDING NEW SHEET NO. 64 TO THE DISTRICT- ING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly held two public hearings in connection with Amendment Application No. 189 for change of District Classifi- cation, and recommended to the City Council the change requested; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AMA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point in the West line of Bristol Street, 80.00 feet wide, as shown on a map filed in Book 29, at page 15 of Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, said point being distant North 0° 08' 40'' East 200.0b feet from the inter- section of said West line with the North line of the strip of land 80.00 feet wide, conveyed to H. E. Huntington, TrusteeA now used as a railroad right of way; thence South 0~ 08' 40" West along said West line of Bristol Street and the Southerly extension thereof, 320.09 feet to a point in the South line of Talbert Avenue 40.00 feet wide; thence South 88° 44' 40'' West alo~ said South line 3610.49 feet, thence North 1° 00' 10" West 1379.31 feet to a point in the North line of Lot 7, of the Williams Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 3©, at page 14 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California; thence North 88° 53' 40'' East along said North line, 1991.18 f~et to the Northeast corner of said ~tL~st~e~ ~°~hs~idO~ll~mEsa~a~5~lE~2~tl~O the Northwest corner of Lot 3, of Tract No. 88, as shown on a map recorded in Book 10, at page 41 of Mis- cellaneous Ma~s, records of OranEe County, California; thence North ~9° 17' 40" East 66~.22 feet of the North- east corner of said Lot 3; thence South 0° 51' 20" East 196.07 feet to a point in a line parallel with and distant 320.00 feet Northerly, measured at right angles, fr~m said South line of Talbert Avenue; thence North 88 44' 40'' East along said parallel line, 959.20 feet to the point of beginning be reclassified from R-1 District to the M-1 District and that new sheet No. 64 be added to the Districting Nap of Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published within l~ days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Ana Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 29~h day of 1956.
