OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "SEGERSTROM
ANNEX NO. 2"
W~EP~AB, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on
July 30, 1956 declare its intention to annex certainuninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 56-209, which said Resolution wam
regularly published as required by law, and which said Resolution
gave due notice of public hearing to be held on September 4, 1956;
~gHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or pro-
tests to said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, TEE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOW~:
~EcTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was'
no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described,
that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that
said territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for
annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the
City of Santa Aha, California; that written consent of all the
owners was filed with the Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption
of this Ordinance, agreeing that all property within said territory
shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City
contracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation and that
said property shall be so taxed.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the Northwest cor~er of Lot ~B# of Tract No.
510, as shown on a map recorded in Book 23, at pages 9 and
l0 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, said point being an angle point in the exist-
~ boundary line of the City of Santa Aha; thence North
10' 15" East along the North line of said Lot "B" and
the Easterly extension thereof, 819.73 feet; thence North
1° 19' 45" West 793.15 feet to a point in the Westerly ex-
tension of the North line of Lot 2, of Tract No. 1013, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 33, at page 36 of Miscel-
laneous Ma~s, records of said Orange County; thence North
27° ~2' 15" East along said extension and North line,
¥3~.~5 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 2; thence
South 5° 0~' 45~ East 2282.38 feet; thence South 88° 44' 15"~
West 2819.4~ feet to a point in the East line of Harbor
Boulevard, 80.00 feet wide, as shown on said map of Tract
No. 1013; thence North 1° 19' 45" West along said East line,
1482.00 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot l, of said Tract
No. 1013, said point being an angle point in the existing
boundary line of the City of Santa Aha; thence North 88° 43'
45~ East along said boundary line, 1280.00 feet to the point

be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Aha, the Santa Aha Elementary School District, Santa
Ana High School District and Santa Ana Junior College District, and
said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published with-
in 15 days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Aha Independ-
ent. This Ord~neuce shall take effect 30 days from and after the date
of its final adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of September , 1956.

I, ERMA HUNTER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the
Council of the City of Santa Aua, California; that the foregoing Ordi-
nance was regularly introduced at the rggular meeting of said Council
held on the ~th day of September , 1956, and was again considered by
said Council at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of Sgptember ,
1956, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by said
Council by the following vote, to-wit:
