SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES AND AMENDING SHEETS NOS. ~ AND 2 OF THE
DISTRICTING NAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given
notice ef and duly held two public hearings in connection with
Amendment Application No. 196 for change of District Classifica-

WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly
held a public hearing on said application and does now find that
public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the fol-
lowing amendment and that the uses under the new classification
will not be detrimental to the surrounding property,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~HE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, within the area bounded by
Bush Street, Washington Avenue, the S.p.R.R. right-of-way, and the

south side of C-1 zone on Seventeenth Street,
as:
Parcel 1. The area bounded on the north by a line paral-
lel with and 194.28 feet south of the south line of Seven-
teenth Street, on the south by Washington Avenue, on the
east by French Street, and on the west by Bush Street.
Parcel 2. The area bounded on the north by a line paral-
lel with and 187.00 feet south of the south line of Seven-
teenth Street, on the south by Washington Avenue, on the
west by French Street, and bounded easterly by the S.P.R.R.
right-of-way,
be reclassified from R-2 District to the R-3 District and that
Sheets Nos. 3 and 2 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the
Santa Aha Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the smme to be published
within 15 days after its adoption in one issue of the Santa Aha
Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
