LIMITING REGULATION OF PARKING WlTnAm' '~S CITY BY
T~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ~ DOES OPJI~N AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION L. That Section 3216, Chapter 2, Article III of the Santa
Aha MAmicipal Code is hereby ~mended to read as follows:
"Section B216. ~.tm~ting or Prohibiting P~rking.
"The Council may by Resolution prohibit alt stopping or
parking or both, al I stopping or parking or both during certain
hours, parking in excess ~f t~lve mtuutes, twenty-four minutes,
one hour or ~wo hours of any day on any streets or amy part
thereof wil~hin the City. When any such Resolution has been
adopted, no operator of any vehicle shall stop or park said
vehihle in violation of the terms ~f such Resolution in any
block, or part thereof, where two or more signs have been
posted giving notice of such stepping or parking prohibition
or limitation.
"Any operator of any vehicle violating the ~provisions of
this Section by parking in excess of the ~--~, eg~l parking
time allowed is guilty of a further mud separate violation for
each ~x~od of time, e~l to the maximum legal parking time
designated by the Council by Resolution and shown on such signs,
that vehicle is left so parked."
~ECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage ~f
this OrdiUance a~ sh-l~ ~aause the same to be published wit~!~n 15 days after
its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ann Independent. This Ordinance shall
take effect 30 days from and after the date of its f~n~l adoption.

its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of December , 1956.
