OF THAT CERTA'IN "TERRITORY DESIGNATED "EDINGER SCHOOL
W~EHEAS, the City Council of the City of Sant~a Aha did on
November 5, 1956 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory by Resolution No. 56-282, which said Resolution was regularly
published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice
of public hearing to be he~l on December 17,
WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no
to said p~oposed annexation;

NOW, THEREFOEE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOW~:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that
due notice of the time and place of hearing was' given; that said
territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for
annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous to the
City of Santa Aha, California; that written consent of all the
owners was find with the C~rk o£ the Council prior to the adoption
of this Ordinance, agreeing that all property within said territory
shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City
contracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation and that
said property shall be so taxed.
SECTION 2. Tha~ all ~ the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at an angle point on the City Boundary of the City
of Santa Ana, said point bears North $0° 33' 30~ West 330.00
feet from a point on the center line of Edtnger~Street which
bears South ~9° 29' 40" West 2641.92 feet from the intersec-
tion of the center lines of Edinger Street and Bristol Street;
thence North O0° 33' 30" West along.said City boundary 334.03
feet; thence South 89° 27'58" West 658.23 feet; thence South
00o 24' 19" East 333.70 feet~to an.angle point on said City
boundary; thence North 89° 29' 40" East along said City
boundary 659.12 feet to the point.of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and s~ll become a part o£ the
City of Santa Aha, the Santa Ana Elementary School District, Santa
Aha High School District and Santa Aha Junior College District, ~ud
said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
SECTION 3. The C~ rk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
within l~ days after its adoption, in one issue of the Santa Ana
Independent. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after
the date of its final ado~ ion.
