SANTA ANA MUNICI~CODE CREATING CHANGES IN
DISTRICT BOUNDARIES, AND AMENDING SHEET No. 53 OF
THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has given notice
of md duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment App-
lication No. 213 for change of district classification, and recom-
mended to the City Council that the proposed reclassification be
denied; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held
a public hearing on ssi d application, and disagrees with the recom-
mendation of the Planning Commission, and does now find that public
necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following
amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not
be detrimental to the surrounding properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
county of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the intersection of the West line of Bristol
Street and the North line of Wtlshire Avenue, and running
thence Westerly along the North line of Wilshire Avenue
200 feet; thence Northerly and parallel to the Westerly
line of Bristol Street 270 feet; thence Easterly and par-
allel to the Northerly line of Wilshire Avenue 200 feet to
a point on the Westerly line of Bristol Street; thence
Southerly along the Westerly line of Bristol Street to the
point of beginning,
be reclassified from R-1 District to the C-1 District, and that Sheet
No. 53 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha Munici-
pal Code be amended to show such reclassification.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pass-
age of this Ordinance md shall cause the same to be published once
within 15 days after its adoption. This Ordinance shall take effect
30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
