8432 TO PERNIT USE "OF BONDED PLYWOOD
IN SKY SIGNS IN FIRE ZONE NIR~BER 3
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TiTE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 8432, Chapter 4, Article VIII of
the Santa Aua Municipal Code be, and the sm~e is, aereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 8432. Construction of Sky and Electrical Signs.
Every sky sign erected upon or above the roof of any building,
and every electrical sign, shall be constructed entirely of non-
combustible materials, except that in Fire Zone No. 3 the flat
surface of any such sign may b e constructed of bonded plywood,
provided the bonded material is unaffected by moisture or water
to an extent that such plywood will stand complete submersion
under water for a period of ten (10) hours without separation
of the ply~ warping, or other deterioration.
