40, 41, 42, A~ 4~ 0F ~ DISTRICTING ~P TO
SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEPGEAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice
of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment No.
21~ initiated by said Commission for chs~ge of District Classifi-
cation, and reco~mmended to the City Council the change herein set
out; and
~7TEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly
held a public hearing on said application and does no~ find that
public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the follow-
ing amendment a~ d that the uses under the new classification will not
be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COHNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Or, ge, State of California, described as:
All areas fronting on or adjacent to the east and west
sides of North ~ain Street, bounded on the south by
Tenth Street and on t he north by the north Corporate
Limits; and
All areas fronting on or adjacent to the east and west
sides of South Main Street (even though separated by an
alley) bounded on the north by /~alnut Street and on the
south by the south Corporate Ltmits~
be reclassified to modify the existing C-1 and C-2 Districts by the
addition of -PK thereto, and that Sheets No. l, 2, 3, 4, 12, 13, m4
l~, 29, 30, 31, 32, 40, 41, 42, and 4-3 of the Districting ~ap of
Ssata Aha ~,tunicipal Code be amended to show such
Article IX of the
reclassification.
SECTION 2.
The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance s~d shall cause the same to be published
once within l~ days after its adoption. This Ordinance shall take
effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.

Ana at its regular meeting held on the _~tl~ day of Na¥~ 1957.
