SECTIONS
T~E CITT COUNCIL 0F T+~ CITY OF S~TA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ~at Sections 3211, 3211.1, 3211.2'and 3211.~ of the
Santa Aha Eunicipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 3211. All-~.iight

or upon any portion of any public highway in the City where parking
meters have been inst~lled along the curb, or at any place on any such

Co~ucil hereby declares that the prohibition herein, and in Section
3211.1 and in Section 3211.2 are adopted in the best interest of pub-
lic safety, health, morals, and genersl welfare, ~d that the parking
herein prohibited has been dete~uined to be unsafe ~uring the hours
herein set out. Other streets may be added whereon parking is prohib-
ited when the Council deems such parking unsafe.
"SECTION 3211.1. Con~mercisl Vehicles and Tratler Parking Pro-
hibited.

No person shall park, stop, or leave standing any truck,
tractor, trailer, bus or any other commercial ventricle, or any item of

period of time longer than 30 minutes between the hours of 2 O'clock
A.N. and 6 O'clock A.~.~. of any d~y upon any public street or hi~hway
in the City.
"SECTION 3211.2. Parking Over 24 Hours ?rohibited.
No person shall park, stop, or leave standing for a period
of time longer than a4 hou~s upon any public street or highway in
the City any vehicle, tractor, truck, trailer, any piece of
farm machinery or any special purpose machine."
"SECTION 3211.3. Vehicle Repairing Prohibited on Streets.
No person shall park, stop, or leave standing any vehicle
for a period of time ~ longer than 12 hours on any public street
or highway in the City unless such~vehicle is in a condition to be
lawfully operated upon the public highways, and no person shall
repair, dismantle, overhaul or do any mechanical work upon any ve-
hicle on any part of any publio street or highway in the City, ex-
cept to change rims, to replace or otherwise repair a tire that is
flat or to make emergency repairs to enable
to a proper place for mechanical work."
SECTION 2. Sections 3211.4, 3211.5,
Aha Municipal Code are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. the Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
once within 15 days after its adoption. This Ordinance shall take
effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
