SANTA ANA MUNI'C'IPAL CODE CREATING CHAN~ES IN DIS-
TRICT BOUNDARIES. AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 26 OF THE
DISTRICTING I¥IAP TO SHOW THE RECLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice
of and duly held a Dublic haaring in connection with Amendment No.
218 for Change of District Classification, and recommended to the
City Council the change here~n set-out; and
WHEREAS the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held
a public hearing on said application and does now find that public
necessity, convenience and general welfare require the fo]lowing
amendment and that the uses under the new clas~lflcation wi]] not be
detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW TH=R~ FOR.~. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of land allotted to Jacob Ross in decree of
partiti~m of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, recorded
in Book "B" of Judgments of the 17th Judicial Court, Los
Angeles County in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Ying Street on
the grant line said point being located 215.57 feet North
28° ~4~ 00" East from the intersection of the center line
of said ~ing Street with the center line of Hickey Street,
(now known as Eighth Street); thence North 28° 05' O0" East
753.31 feet along the said center line of King Street to
the Southwest corner of Tract # 1685 as per map thereof re-
corded in Book ~9, Pa~es ~.4 and 45j Miscellaneous Maps, re-
cords of Orange County, California, thence South 89° 50~ 00"
East 269.~8 feet along the South line of said Tract 1685 to
the Northwest corner of Tract 1915 as per map thereof re-
corded in Book 53, Page ~,1, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
said Orange County; thence South 0° 53~ 00" West 652.53
feet along the West llne of said Tract 1915 to a point in
a line parallel with and 200.00 feet North from the said
center line of Hickey Street; thence South 89° 52~ 00" West
465.00 feet along said parallel line; thence South OO 33~
00" West lO.O0 feet along a line parallel with the said
West line of Tract 1915; thence South 89° 52' 00" West
152.63 feet along a line parallel with the said center line
of Hickey Street to the point of beginning,

Sheet No. 26 of the District Mao of Article IX of the Santa Ana Munic-
ipal Code be amended to show such reclassification.

SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
within 15 days after its adoption. This Ordinance shall take effect
30 days from and after the date of its adoption.

Aha at its regular meeting held on the 2Otb day of Nay , 1957.
