CERTAIN TERRIT~ESIGNAx. mM "MABURY ANNEX NO. 1"
the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on April
8 , 19%7, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited tex?itox-y
~ by Resolution No. 57-95, which said Resolution was regularly published
as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of pub-
lic hearing to be held on May 20, 1957; and
W~ws~AS, at said hearing there were no objections or pr~tests to
said proposed annexation;
NOW, ','nmm~.FOHE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearimg, it finds that there was no
protest to the -n-exation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time snd place o f hearing was given; that said territory
was Golly uninhabited at the time the petition for a~nexation was filed;
that said ~erritory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California;
SECTION 2. That all of the ter~itor~ situated in the County of
Orange, State of Califorula, described as:
Begin-tug at an angle point in the city boundary of the 0ity
of Santa Aha, California, said angle point being the inter-
section of the center lines of Fourth Street and Mabumy Street
and xn~maing thence northerly along said City boundary and along
said center line o f Mabury Street to its intersection with the
westerly prolongation of the north line of Lot 1 of T~act No.
678 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 32, Page 11,
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of 0~ge County, California; thence
departing from said City boundary easterly along said westerly
prolongation of said north line of said Lot l and the south
line of Fruit Street (40 feet wide) and.$ts easterly prolonga-
tion to the east line of Tustin Avenue (b0 feet wide); thence
southerly along said east line of sa~d Tustin Avenue to the
easterly prolongation of the south line of Fourth Street (60
feet wide); thence westerly along said easterly prolongation
and said south line of FoUrth Street to its intersection with
the east line of Lot 15 of Mabu~y Tract, as shown on a m~p
thereof recorded in Book 165, Page 300, Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles County; thence southerly along said east line
of said Lot 15 and its southerly prolongation to the south line
of First Street (66 feet wide); thence westerly along said
south line of First Street to a point on the southerly prolong-
ation of the west line of said Lot 15, said point being an
angle point in said City boundary; thence northerly ~ong said
City boundary and said westerly line of Lot 15 to the center
line of said Fourth Street and an angle point in said City
boundary; thence westerly along said City boundary and said
center line of said Fourth Street to its intersection with the
center line of Mabury said ion being the point
of beginning.
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Ana, and said annexation is by this O~iinance effected,
approved and declared.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pass-
age of this Ordinance a~d shall cause the same to be published once
within 15 days after its adoption. This Ordinance shahll take effect
30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.

June , 1957, and was at said m~ eting regularly passed and adopted
by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
