CERTAIN TERRITO'~Y DESIGNATED aSEGERSTROM ANNEX NO. 3"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on April
15, 1957, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory
by Resolution No. 57-101, which said Resolution was regularly published
as required by law, and which s~ d Resolution gave due notice of public
hearing to be held on June 3, 1957; and
~, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to
said proposed annexation;
NOW, ~HEHEFOEE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ~at after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory
was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation was
filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of S~ta Aha,
0alifornia, and that property within said ter~ tory shal 1 not be taxed
to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to
or existing at the time of a~nexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point, on the east line of Harbor Boulevard
(80.00 feet wide) 2,476.1~l~feet northerly from the center
line of Talhert Avenue, said point being an angle point in
the City boundary of the City of Santa Aha; thence southerly
along said east line of Harbor Boulevard and its extension
to the north line of Huntzinger Avenue (40.00 feet wide); thence
easterly along said north line of Huntzinger Avenue to its
intersection with the east line of Lot 3 of the Williams
Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 30, Page 14,
of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence
northerly along said east line of Lot 3, 1,524.81 feet more
or less to an angle point in s~ d east line of Lot 3; thence
westerly along the westerly prolongation of that certain
southerly line of said Lot 3 having a dist~ce of 14.52 chains
to its intersection with the westerly exterior boundary of
the Rancho Santiago de S~ta Ana; thence $1ong the following
3 courses which run along a portion of the exterior boundary
of said Rancho as shown on a map of the Partition of the
Rancho Santiago de Santa Aha; thence north 8-3/4° east to
S.S.A. lll; thence North 81° east one chain to S.S.A. ll0;
thence North 32° 30" east to t he south line of T~ bert Avenue;
thence westerly along the southerly line of Talbert Avenue
to its intersection with a line parallel with and 400.00
feet (measured at right angles) from the east line of said
Harbor Boulevard; thence northerly along said parallel line
to the city boundar,y of the City of Santa Ama; thence west-
erly along said city boundary to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
0ity of Santa Aha, the Santa Arm School District, Seats Aha High
School District m%d the Santa An, Junior College District, and said
annexation is by this O~dinance effected, approved and declared.
SECTION 3. T~e Clerk of the Council shall certify to the pass-
age of this Ordinance sa d shall tense the same to be published once
within 15 days after its adoption. This Ordinsa ce shal 1 tat~ effect
30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.

Council of the City of Santa Aha, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of s~
Council held on the 3rd day of June 1957, and was again consid-
ered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the l?th day
of June , 1957, and was at said meeting regularly passed and
adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
