HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-263ORDINANCE NO. NS-263AHENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE CREATING CHANGES IN DISTRICT BOUND- ARIES, AND AMENDING Sw~E. TS NO. 13 AND 14 OF THE DIST- RIOTING MAP TO SHOW THE ~ECLASSIFICATION ~EA~, the Planning Comzaission of Santa Ana has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment No. 220 initiated by said Commission for change of District Classifies- tion, and recommended to the City Council the change herein set out; and WHEEEAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amend- ment and that the uses under the new classification will not be det- rtmental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Or~ge, State of Califor~xia, described as: An area bounded on the SOUTH by the north side of 20th Street, on the WEST by a line approximately 150 ft. east of and parallel to the east side of Broadway, on the NORTH by a line approximately 140 ft. north of and parellel to the north side of 20th Street, and on the EAST by a line approximately 300 feet east of and parallel to the east side of Broadway. An area bounded on the NORTH by the south side of Buffalo Avenue, on the WEST by a line approximately 154 feet east of and parallel to the east side of Broadway, on the EAST by a line 310 feet east of and parallel to the east side of Broadway, and on the SOUTH by a line approximately 152 feet south of and parallel to the south side of Buffalo Avenue, and An area bounded on the NORTH by the south side of Santa Clara Avenue, on the SOUTH by the north side of Buffalo Avenue, on t~e EAST by a line, beginning at a point on the north side of Buffalo Avenue, approximately 270 feet east of the east side of Broadway, extending north approximately ll3 feet, thence east l0 feet, thence north approximately 140 feet, thence east approximately 20 feet, thence north approximately 1~0 feet, to a point on the south side of Santa Clara Avenue, approximately 300 feet east of the east side of Broadway, be reclassified from the R-3 District to the P-PK District, and An area bounded on the SOUTH by the nc~th side of 20th Street, on the EAST by a l~ue 150 feet west of and parallel to the west side of Main Street, on the NORTH by the south side of Buffalo Avenue, on the WEST by a line - beginning at a point on the north side of 20th Street, approximately 300 feet east of the east side of Broadw~- extending north approximately 140 feet, thence west approximately 50 feet, thence nort~ approximately 70 feet, thence east approximately 30 feet, thence north approximately 405 feet, thence east approximately 30 feet, thence north approximately 445 feet to a point on the south side of Buffalo Avenue approximately 310 feet east of the east side of Broadway, and An area bounded on the NORTH by the south side of Santa Clara, on the SOUTH by the north side of Buffalo Avenue, on the EAST by a line 150 feet west of and parallel to the west side of Main Street, and on the WEST by a line - beginning at a point on the north side of Buffalo Avenue approximately 270 feet east of the east side of Broadway - extending north approxi- mately ll3 feet, thence east l0 feet, thence north approxi- mately 140 feet, thence east approximately 20 feet, thence north approximately 140 feet to a point on the south side of Santa Clara Avenue approximately 300 feet east of the east side of Broadway, be reclassified frees the R-3 District to the C-1 PK Distr~ct, and An area bo%mded on the WEST by a line 300 feet east of and par- allel to the east side of Broadway, on the EAST by a line approximately 410 feet east of and parallel to the east side of Broadway, on the SOUTH by the north side of S~ ta Clara Avenue, and on ~he NORTH by the right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific R. R., be reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-1 PK District, and that Sheets No. 13 and 14 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Ana M~nicipal Code be mended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Cotmcil shall certify to the pass- age of this 0~dinance and shall cause the same to be published once within 15 days after its adoption.
