CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "MABURY ANNEX NO. 3"
W-HE~EAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on June
17, 1957, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territor~
by Resolution No. 57-164, which said Resolution was regularly published
as required by law, end which said Resolution gave due notice of pub-
lic hearing to be held on August 5, 1957; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing there was filed a protest to said pro-
posed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was not
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described by 'owners
of one-half of the value of the territory as shown by t he last equal-
ized assessment roll, that due notice of the time and place of hear-
ing was given; that said territory was wholly uninhabited at the time the
petition for annexation was filed; that said territory is contiguous
to the City of Santa Aha, California; and that said territory shall
not be taxed to pay any ~indebtedness of the City existing at the time
of this annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Mabury
Street with the westerly extension of the South line of
Fruit Street (40 feet wide), said point being on,he City
boundary of the City of Santa Arm, California; running
thence easterly along said westerly extension and said south
line of Fruit Street and its easterly extension to the east
line of Tustin Avenue (60 feet wide); thence northerly along
said east line of Tustin Avenue to its intersection with the
easterly extension of the north line of Lot 5 Mabury Tract,
as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 1~5, Page 300,
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County; thence westerly
along said easterly extension and North line of said Lot 5
and along the North line of Lot 6 and its westerly extension
of said Mabury Tract, to t he center line of Mabury Street and
said City boundary of Santa Arm; thence southerly along said
center line of Mabury Street and along said City boundary to
the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Aha, and said annexation is by this Ordinance effected,
approved and declared.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the
~assage of this Ordinance and shall cause the samae to be published
once within 15 days after its adoption. This 0rdi~ance shall take
effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.

Ordinance was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of saiA
Council held on the 5th day cf August , 1957, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 19th
day of August , 1957, and was at said meeting regularly passed
and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
