CERTAIN 'L~HRIT~'~GNA'A'~ "DELHI AND BRISTOL S.W. ANNEX"
WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Sm ts A~a did om June
17, 1957, declare its intention to annex certain uminhabited te~i-
tory by Resolution No. ~7-165, which said Resolution was regularly
published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due not-
ice of public hearing to be held on August 5, 1957; and
WHEREA~, at said hearing there were no objections or pretests
to said Proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due heax~lmg, it finds that there was no
protes~ to the aanexation of the territory herein described, tha~ due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said ter~i-
to~-ywas wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for annexation
was filed; that said territor~y is contiguous to the City of S~ ta An a,
California, and that property within said terTitory shall not be taxed
to pay any indebtedness or liability o f s~d City contracted prior to
or existing at the time of annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of Section 26, Township 5 South, Rmge 10 West,
S.B.B. & M., in the land allotted to Jmaes McFadden in Decree
of Partition of the R~cho S~tiago de S~ta Aha, recorded in
Book B of Judgments of the Seventeenth Judicial District Court
of Los Angeles County, California, located in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the boundary of the Oity of
Santa Aha, California, said angle point being a point on the
North line of said Section 26, 40.~8 feet Westerly (measured
along said North line of Section 26) from the Northeast corner
of said Section 26; thence southerly along the Santa Aha City
boundary and along the westerly line of Bristol Street, as
described in deed to County of Orange, recorded June l, 1949,
in Book 1851, Page 303 of Official Records, 4232.27 feet more
or ~ ss to a point on said West line of Bristol Street, which
is 200.06 feet northerly (measured ~ cng said West line of
Bristol Street) from the North line of the land conveyed to
H. E. Huntington, Trustee; and to an angle point in sA d City
boundary; thence westerly along said City boundary and along
a line parallel with and distant 320.00 feet northerly, measured
at rigat angles f~om the South line of Talbert Avenue 40.00
feet wide, 959.20 feet to an angle point in said City boundary,
and to the East line of Lot 3 of Tract No. 88, as shown on
a map recorded in Book 10, at Page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California; thence northerly along
said City b~oundary, and along said East li~e of L~t 3 of T~act
No. §~, 195.07 feet to the nox~heast co~ner of said Lot 3 and
to an angle point in said City boundary; thence westerly along
said City boundary and along the North line of sa~ d Lot 3,
666.22 feet to the East line of Lot 6 of the Williams Tract,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 30 at Page 14 of Deeds, re-
cords of Los A~ngeles County, California, and to aa angle point
in sai~ City boundary; thence northenly along the East lines
of Lot 6 and 7 of said Williams Tract and along said City
boundary 851.61 feet to the northeast co~ner of Lot 7 of said
Williams Tract and to an angle point in said CitYobOUndary;
thence departing from said City boundary, North 0 53' West,
along the East line of the Williams Tract and its northerly
prolongation to the southeasterly right-of-way line of Delhi
Road; thence, in a general northeasterly direction following
along said southeasterly right-of-way line to the City Limits
of the City of Santa Aha; thence, easterly along said City
Limits to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Ana, the Santa Aha School District, Santa Aha High School
District and the Santa Aha Junior College District, and said annexation
is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared.
SECTION 3- This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its final adoption.

anco was regularly introduced at the regular meeting of said Council

1957, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by said
