BOUNDARIES~ AND AMENDING SHEET NO. 64 AND ADDING
SHEET NO. b7 OF THE DISTRICTING MAP TO SHOW THE
CLASSIFICATION
WHEFSAS, the Planning Comzaission of Sm~ ta Aha has given notice
of mad duly held a public hearing in connection with Amer~ment Appli-
cation No. 230 for Change of District Classification, and recommended
to the City Council the changes r~quested; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly
held a public hearing on said application and does now find that
public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the follow-
lng amendment and that the uses under the new classification will not
be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA-DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of SanCta Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of Section 26, To,ship 5 South, Range 10
West, in the laud alloted to James McFadden in Decree of
Partition of the R~cho Santiago de Santa Aha, recorded
in Book B of Judgments of the Seve~%teenth Judicial Dist-
rict Court of Los Angeles County, California, located in
the County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point 60 feet south of the North line of
said Section 2~, and 40.08 feet West of the East line of
said Section 2b; thence southerly along the westerly ltne
of Bristol Street, as described in deed to County of Orange,
recorded June l, 1949, in Book 1851, Page 303 of Official
Records, 4232.27 feet more or less to a point on said West
line of Bristol Street, which is 200.06 feet northerly frc~
the North line of the land conveyed to H. E. Huntington,
Trustee; thence westerly along a line parallel with and dis-
tant 320.O0,feet northerly measured at right angles from
the South line of Talbert Avenue 40.00 feet wide, 959.20
feet to the East line of Lot 3 of Tract No. 88, as s~own on
a map recorded inBook 10, at Page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, California, thence northerly along
said East line of Lot 3 of Tract No. 88, 196.07 feet to the
northeast corner of said L9~,3; thence westerly along the
North line of said Lot 3, bbb.22 feet to the East line of
Lot 6 of the Williams Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 30 at page 14 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County,
California; thence northerly along the East lines of Lot b
and 7 of s~ d Williams tract 851.61 feet to the northeast
corner of Lot 7 of said Williams Tract; thence N. 0° 53' W.,
along the East line of the Williams Tract and its Northerly
prolongation to a point in a line parallel to and 60 feet
South (measured at right angles) of the North line of said
Section 26; thence Easterly along said line parallel to and
60 feet south (measured at right ~ngles) of the North line
of s-Id Section 26 to the point of beginning,
be reclassified f~om the R-1 District to M-1 District, and that
Sheet No. 64 of the Districting Map of Article IX of the Santa Aha
Municipal Code be amended and Sheet No. 67 be added thereto, to
show such ~eclassificatton.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its adoption.
