OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "EAST OF
PRENTICE PARK ANNEX"
WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha di~ om
October 21, 1957 declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited
territory and initiate the proceedings so to do by Resolution No.
57-266, which said Resolution was regularly published as required by
law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to
be held on December 2, 1957; aud
W~REA~, at said hearing there were no objections or protests
to said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said terri-
tory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 57-266 was adopt-
ed initiating said proceedings; that said territory is contiguous to
the City of Santa Arm, California; that said Resolution was written
consent by the owners of said territory filed with the Clerk of the
Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agreeing that all
property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any indebtedness
or liability of said City contracted prior to or existing at' the time
of annexation and that said property sha~l be so taxed.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot I in T~act No. 24 as
shown on a map recorded in Book 9, Page 23, Miscellameous Maps
of Orange County, California, said northwest corner being an
angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ama, Calif-
ornia; and running thence North 89° 32' 45" East along said City
boundary and along the north line of said Lot i to a point im
said north line 20.73 feet westerly from the northeasterly .cor-
ner of said Lot l; thence 'Sout~ 47° 16, 59" West 69.57 feet;
thence South 8° 43' 22" East 69.15 feet; thence South 30° Ol' 22"
East 121.29 feet to a point on the east line of said Lot l,
220.73 feet southerly from the northeast co~ner of said Lot l;
thence southerly along said east line of Lot l, and along the
east line of Lot 3 in said Tract No. 24, to the southeast cor-
ner of said Lot 3, thence westerly along the south line of said
Lot 3 to the southwest corner of said Lot 3; and to aa angle
point in said Santa Aha City boundary; thence northerly along
the west line of Lots 3 and 1 in said Tract No. 2~ and alo~g
said City boundary to the northwest co~ner of said Lot 1 and
to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Aha, md said annexation is by this O~dinance effected,
approved and declared.
SECTION 3- This Ordinance shal 1 take effect 30 days f~om and
after the date of its final adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 16th
1957.
