St, ~8~ and 60 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has given notice of and duly helda public hearing in connection with Amendment No. 243 initiated by said Com~mission for change of District Classification, and recommended to the City Council the change herein set out; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said proposal and does now find that public nec- essity, convenience and general welfare require the following amend- ment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detri- mental to t he surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'I~HE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: PARCEL 1. All that property bounded on the north by a line approximately 800 feet north of St. Andrew's Place, on the east by the easterly line of the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way, on the south by Delhi Road, on the east by a line 60 feet east of the center line of Standard Avenue, measured at right angles; and PARCEL 2. All taat property north of Delhi Road and east of the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way which was included as a portion of the property annexed to the City of Santa Aha under the name of "South Standard Annex" by 0rdina~ce No. NS- 206, adopted September 17, 1956. PARCEL 3- All that certain property bounded on the north by the north line of Delhi Road, on the east by a line parallel to and distant easterly 660.25 feet, measured at right angles from the easterly line of the Southem Pacific Railroad right- of-way, on the south b~ a line parallel to and distant south- erly 1122 feet from the center line of Delhi Road, and on the west by the westerly line of the Southern Pacific R~lroad right-of-way, shall be reclassified from R-1 District to M-1 District, and All of that property bounded on the north by a line approximately 325 feet south of the south line of St. Gertrude's Place, on the east by a line parallel to and distant easterly 60 feet, measured at right angles from the center line of Standard Avenue, on the south by a line approximately 550 feet north of the north line of Delhi Road, and on the west by the center line of Standard Avenue~ be reclassified from M-1 District to R-1 District, and that Sheets ~?, ~8 and 60 of the Districting Nap of the Sa~ ta Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such reclassification. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of i6s adoption.
