HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-315ORDI~ANCE NO. NS-315 DECLARING THE Ai~t~EXATION OF THAT CEHTAIN TERRIT R~-~ESIGNATED "HUNTZ!NGER AI~D H~P~BOR N. E. ANNEX" WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Smta Aha did on February 3, 1958 initiate proceedings for and declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by adopting Resolution No. 58-36, which said Resolution was regularly published as required by law, and which said Resolution gave due notice of public hearing to be held on March 17, 1958; and WHEREA~, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to said proposed annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'i~E CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOW~: SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 58-36 was adopted; that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation. SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: That portion of the 4576.25 acre parcel of land allotted to James ~cFadden in the partition of the R~ cbc Smtiago de Santa Ana, recorded in Book B of Jud~nents of the 17th Judicial Dist- rict Court of California and a portio~ of Lot 3 of the Williams Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 30, Page 14, ~iscell- aneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the North. right-of-waY line of Hunt~nger Aven~e,40.00 feet wide, sai~ poznt being distant North 88° 37' 00'~ East 1262.80 feet from the intersection of said North line with the center line of Harbor Boulevard, 80.00 feet wide, as described in deed recorded March %, 1930, in Book 358 at Page 424 of official Records, Records of Orange County, California; running thence ~orth 1© 19' 45" West, along a line parallel with and dist~t Easterly 1262.80 feet from sa~d center line of Harbor Boulevard, a distance of 1272.83 feet; thence South 88° 37' 00" West, along a line parallel with and distant Northerly 1292.83 feet from the center line of Huntztnger Avenue, a distance of 236.36 feet, more or less, to a point on the East line of Lot 3 of the Williams Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 30 at Page 14 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence Southerly, along said East line of said Lot 3, also being present boundary line of the City of Santa Ana, a distance of 1272.83 feet, more or less, to a point on the North right-of-way line of said Huntzinger Avenue, s~d to a~ angle point in said City boundary; thence westerly along said North line of Nuntzinger Avenue, and along said City boundary to the East llne of said Harbor Boulevard, and to an angle point in said City boundary; thence southerly departing from said City boundary along ~he southerly extension of said East line of Harbor Boulevard to the South line of Huntzinger Avenu~e (40.00 feet wide); thence North 88° 3?' 00" East along said oouth line of Huntzinger Avenue 1262.80 feet; thence ~orth 1° 19' 45" West 40.00 feet to the point of beginuing, be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the City of Santa Ana, the Santa Aha School District, Santa Ana High School District and the Santa Aha Junior Coll~ge District, and said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its final adoption.
