CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FAIRVIEW AND CENTER N.W.
ANNEX"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did on Febru-
ary l?, 1958 declare its intention to sa nex certain uninhabited terri-
tory by Resolution No. 58-54, which said Resolution was regularly pub-
lished as required by ~'aw, and which said Resolution gave due notice
of public hearing to be held on April 7, 1958; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing there were no objections or protests to
said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing, it finds that there was no
protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due
notice of the time sa d place of hearing was given; that said territory
was wholly uninhabited at the time the petition for sanexation was
filed; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Sa~ ta Aha,
California; that written consent of all the owners was filed with the
Clerk of the Council prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, agree-
ing that all property within said territory shall be taxed to pay any
indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to or existing
at the time of a~nexation and that said property shall be so taxed.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at th9 point of intersection of the West line of
Center Street (60.00 feet wide) with the North line of F~i r-
view .~venue (60.00 feet wide), said point being on the City
bound~J,y of the City of Santa Ana, California, and running
thence North 89° 57' 30" West along said North line of Fair-
view Avenue 299.88 feet to the West line of Lot 33, Re-Platt
Santa Ana Acres, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, Page 8,
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; thence
North 0o 15' 26" West along said ~;est line of Lot 33. 627.16
feet to the North line of said Lot 33; thence North 89° 56' 25"
East al ong said North line of Lot 33, 299.96 feet to said West
line of Center Street, and to said City bgund.ary; thence South
0° 15' 00" East al ong said City boundary b27.b9 feet to the
point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Ssa ta Ana, the Ssa ta Ana School District, Santa Aha High ~chool
District and the Santa Ana Junior College District, a~d said annex-
ation is by this Ordinance effected, approved mud declared.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its final adoption.
