NS-3~ A~NDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA ~{UNICIPAL CODE Tb CHANC-E THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICA- TION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY Al© TO ADOPT SECTIONAL [[STRICT ~AP 10-5-10 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment Application No. 256 and has recommended to the City Council the reclassification of property situated on the south side of Fifth Street west of King Street, mud WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on ssid application and does now find that public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amend- ment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detri- mental to tae surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, 2~!E CITY COUNCIL OF T~ CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the real property in me City of Sau ta Ana, County of Orange, State of Califomia, described as: Beginning at a point approximately 400 feet east of the east line of the Santa Ana River, with a frontage of 32~1..56 feet on Fifth Street and a depth of 706.60 feet, and described as follows: Westerly 5.06 acres, ~ asterly 10.06 acres, North one-half, South one-half, Southeasterly one-quarter Section 10, T 5 S, R l0 W (Westerly of R. O. Dine), is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the M-1 District, and that new Sectional District P~ap 10-5-10 is hereby adopted and established to snow such reclassification and to show the classifica- tion of other property in said Section, and reference is hereby made to said ~ap for further details and particulars as to the zoning in said Section. A copy of said map is hereby ordered filed in the office of the Planning Department, in the Building Depar~aent, smd in the office of the Clerk of the Council. SECTION 1.
