NS-348 AMENDING ARTICLE IX OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICA- TION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY AND TO ADOPT SECTIONAL DISTRICT ~P 23-5-10 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing in connection with Amendment Application No. 259 and has recommended to the City Council the reclassification of property situated on the north side of Delhi Road east of Fairview, and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of and regularly held a public hearing on said application and does now find that public necessity, convenience a~d general welfare require the following amend- ment and that the uses under the new classification will not be detri- mental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. i~at the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: The East 40 feet of the following: Being a portion of the al lotment made to F. W. Koll by final decree in partition of said Rancho rendered September 12th, 1868, and described as follows: The east 20 acres of the following described tract: Beginning at a certain rock set at tine intersection of two roads leading from Santa Ana to Newport, the same being 36.74 chains East of the West line of said Rancho, said point of beginning being at the southeast corner of the land owned on the Ia st day of Jm~uary, 1879, by the estate of J. S. Cunninghmm, deceased, running thence No~bh 16° East 17.57 chains; thence East 19.75 chains; thence running South 16.36 chains, thence running West 24.60 chains to the point of beginning, and being the tractmarked "A. P. Kuffel" as shown on a map of the Kuffel & Fletcher Tract, recorded in Book 19, Page 48 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-3 District, and that new Sectional District Map 23-5-10 as amended by Exhibit "A" is hereby adopted and established to show such reclassification and to show the classification of other property in said Section, and reference is hereby made to said map for further details and particu- lars as to the zoning in said Section. A copy of said map is ordered filed in the office of the planning Department, in the Building Department, and in the office of the Clerk of the Council. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~ 1958.
