CERTAIN TERRITOR-~IGNAT~D "EDINGER AND CENTER N. ANh~EX"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of S~ta Ann did on
the 2nd day of September, 1958, declare its intention to annex
certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 58-221, which said
Resolution was regularly published as required by law, and which
said Resolution gave due notice of a public hearing to be held on
October 20, 1958, which said hearing, after due notice as req-.~ired
by law, was regularly held;
I~0W, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~HE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing it finds that there was
no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described,
that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given, that
said territory was uninhabited at the time the petition for annexa-
tion was filed, that said territory is contiguous to the City of
Santa Ann, and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any
indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of
Edinger Street with the southerly extension of the West line
of Lot 80 of Santa Ann Acres as shown on a map of a Replat
thereof recorded in Book 5, page 8, Niscellaneous Naps, Re-
cords of Orange County, California, said point being an
angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Aha,
California, a.nd running thence North 0° 24' 19" West .330.00
feet along samd City boundary to an angle point in sa~d City
boundary; thence South 89° 29' 40" West 65~.75 feet along
said City boundar~ to an angle point in said City boundary;
thence North 0° lb, 20" West 105.60 feet along said. City
boundary; thence departing from said City boundary South
89° 29' 40" West 628.00 feet to an angle point; thence South
0° 16, 20" East 410.60 feet to the north line of said Edinger
Street; thence North 89°.29' ~0" East 658.00 feet to an angle
point; thence South 0° 16~ 20" East 25.00 feet to a point on
said center line of Edinger Street, said point being an angle
point in said City boundary of the City of Santa Aha, Cali.-
fo~nia; thence North 89° 29' 40" East 629.52 feet along sa~d
City boundary to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Ann, the Santa Ann School District, the S~ta Ana High
School District, and the Santa Ana Junior College District, and said
annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved, and declared.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall t~ke effect 30 days from and
after the date of its final adoption.

I, ERMA HUNTER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the
Council of the City of Santa Aha, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was regularly introduced at its regular meeting held on
the 20th day of October 1958, and was again considered by said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of November
1958, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by said
Council by the following vote, to-wit:
