CERTAIN TERRiTOR-~SIGNATED, "I~EMORY LANE Ai~D RIVER

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did, on
November 17, 1958, declare its intention to annex certain uninhab-
itated territory by Resolution No. 58-289, which said Resolution
was regularly published as required by law, and gave due notice of
a public hearing to be held on January 5, 1959, which said hearing,
after due notice as required by law, was regularly held.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after due hearing it finds that there was
no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described,
that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given, that
said territory was uninhabited at the time the petition for annexa-
tion was filed, that said territory' is contiguous to the City of
Santa Aha, s~d that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any
indebtedness of the City existing st the time of this annexation.
SECTION 2. That all of the territory situ~ted in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as:
All that portion of the Northeast quarter of Section 2,
Township 5 South, Range l0 West, in the Rancho Las Boleas in
unincorporated territory of the County of Orange, State of
California, all as shown on the map recorded in Book 15 at
Pag~ 40, Records of Survey of said Orange County, more part-
icularly described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at an angle point in the ~oundary of the City of
Santa Aha as same existed October 24, 1958, said point being
also the southwest corner of Lot 28 of Potts, Borden and
Sidwell Tract per map thereof recorded in Book 4 at Page
Hiscellaneous Records of Los AnEeles County, California;
thence, along the westerly boundary of the City oF Santa Aha,
South 22° 27' 30" West lbb2.38 feet; thence, South 27° 42' 3o"
West to a point in the easterly prolongation of the northerly
right of way line of Trask Avenue, 40 feet wide; thence,
leaving said westerly boundary of the City of Santa Ana,
along said easterly prolongation a~d the northerly right of
way line of Trask Avenue, South 89 47' 50" West to a point
in the westerly line of that certain parcel of land desig-
nated ~D. 406-185" on aforementioned map recorded in Boo~
15 at Page 40, Records of Survey; thence, along last said
westerly line, North 25° 40' East to an angle point therein;
thence, North 37° 42, 44" East 492.97 feet, more or less, to
the most northerly corner of said parcel designated "D. 406-
185", said point being also in the southerly prolongation of
the easterly boundary of Tract No. 2_2~ as s~ne is shown on
a map recorded in Book 107 at Page 48, ~iscellaneous Maps of
said Orange County; thence, along said southerly prolongation
and the easterly boundary of said Tract ~o. 2211~I~ North 0°
3?' O0'~ West to the northeast corner of said Tract ~o. 2?~l~l,
said point being also a point in the southerly right of way
line of Garden Grove Boulevard, 60 feet wide; thence, along
said southerly right of way line of Garden Grove Boulevard,
North 89° 42' 30" East 368.95 feet; thence, South 0o17'30''
East lO.00 feet; thence, continuing along the southerly right
of way line of Garden Grove Boulevard, 80 feet wide, North 89°
42' 30" East 277.'23 feet to the.beginning of a tangent curve,
concave southerly, having a radlus of 19b0.O0 feet and a
central angle of 19° 26' 50"; thence, along the arc of said
curve, Easterly 665.26 feet; thence, tangent to said curve,
continuing along said southerly right of way line of Garden
Grove Boulevard, Easterly to a point in the easterly line of
said Rancho Las Bolsas; thence, along said easterly line of
the Rancho Las Bolsas, South 22° 27' 30" West 327.15 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning~
be and the s&r~¢e is hereby annexed to and shall become a part of the
City of Santa Ana, and said annexation is by thy Ordinance effected,
approved, and declared.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its final adoption.

Aha at its regular meeting on the
