2 OF THE SANTA ANA ~JNICIPAL CODE TO ADD A NEW SECTION TO
BE NUMBERED 9250.1. FUTURE RIGHT OF WAY LINES
~WHEREAS, the Planning Cormnission gave nc~ ice of and regularly
held a public hearing on the adoption of a new section, as hereinbelow
set out, and recommended to said City Council the adoption of said
amendment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on
notice, on the question of the adoption of said new section and now
finds that the public peace, health, safety, comfort, convenience,
interest and welfare require the following amendment to provide setback
lines under the new title of Future Right of Way Lines.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Santa Ana [~unicipal Code is hereby amended
by adding a new section thereto~ immediately following Section 9250,
in words and figures as follows:
SECTION 9250.1. Puture Right of Way Lines.
There are hereby established s~d re-established lines to
be known as Future Right of Way Lines along certain streets
and portions of streets in the City~ which Future Right of
Way Lines are in the nature of Setback Lines, and to which
Future Right of Way Lines all of the provisions of this part
relating to Setback Lines shall apply. When any Future Right
of Way Line has been established along any street, no person
shall erect any building, wall, fence, sig~ or structure or
thing between said Future Right of Way Line and the street
along which it has been established, except that a fence not
exceeding 4 feet in height, as permitted elsewhere in this
part, is permitted.
The Future Right of Way Line established hereunder, 'and
the locations describing the same shall be added to this part
and separately designated by letters and numbers as a part of
and an amendment to this Section.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and
after the date of its ado~ion.
