NS-379 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN TERRITOR--~IGNATED "TUSTIN AND FOURTH EAST ANNEX" WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did, on May 18, 1959, declare its intention to annex certain uninhabited territory by Resolution No. 59-123, which said Resolution was regularly published as required by law, and gave due notice of a public hearing to be held July 6, 1959, which said hearing was regularly held; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOE~ ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That after due hearing it finds there was no protest to the annexation of the territory herein described, that due notice of the time and place of hearing was given; that said territory was uninhabited at the time said Resolution No. 59-123 was adopted initia- this procedure; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any in- debtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation. SECTION 2. Bat all of the territory situated in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: B~ginning at the intersection of the east line of Tustin Avenue (60.00 feet wide) with the easterly extension of the south line of Fourth Street (60.00 feet wide), said intersection being an angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Aha, Cali- fornia, and running thence~southerly along the east line of said Tustin Avenue to its intersection with the north boundary line of the City of Tustin, California, said point of intersection being 540.00 feet northerly, measured at right angles from the centerline of First Street; thence easterly along said City boundary of Tustin to its intersection with the southerly exten- sion of the west line of the east l0 acres of Lot l, Felipe Yorba Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 4, page 206, Miscellaneous records of Los Angeles County, California; thence northerly departing from Tustin City boundary, along said southerly extension of the west line of the east l0 acres of Lot i to the south line of said Lot l; thence south 89° 22' 45" east along said so~th line of Lot l, 209.97 feet; thence north 6°21,22" east 175.67 feet; thence north 4055,27'' east 580.04 feet to the north line of said Lot l; thence easterly along said north line of Lot i to the west line of Yorba Street, (40.00 feet wide)as shown on a map of the Thomas Yorba Tract recorded in Book l, page 33 of Records of Surveys in the office of the Orange County Recorder, Califor~nia; thence northerly along the west line of said 40.00 foot street and its extensions to a line parallel with and 52.00 feet southerly, measured at right angles from the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence west- erly along said parallel llne to the City boundary of the City of Santa Aha, said City boundary being the east line of the west half of Lot No. 5 of said Felipe ¥orba Tract; thence southerly along said east line and along said City boundary to the south line of said Lot No. 5 and to an angle point in said City boundary; thence westerly along said south line of Lot No. 5 and along said City boundary to the east line of Tustin Avenue and to an angle point in said City boundary; thence southerly along said east line of Tustin Avenue and along said City boundary to the l~int of beginning, be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Santa Ana, a~d said annexation is by this Ordinance effected, approved and declared. SECTION 3- This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its adoption.
